We're game developers! More specifically, Cosy Sharks is a worker-owned game studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. We work on our own projects and with clients, crafting immersive experiences for players to shape their own personal, meaningful stories.
Our founding members had worked together before, but reunited in the wake of several studio closures in 2025. Keen to recapture the productivity and fun we'd had the last time around, we slowly set about founding a cooperative company — an ekonomisk förening.
Today, we humble sharks are busy about making this all work, sustainably. We're actively seeking client work, and keeping ourselves busy and fresh with indie projects and game jams.
A passionate and resourceful programmer and technical designer with 3+ years in industry, Emil is also a prolific game jammer. He placed top-10 in Brackey's Game Jam 2025.

Although we have experience working with a wide variety of commercial tools: for our own projects, we work with open source software where available. We strive to 'pay it forward' where we can to the wider development community.
Though we call ourselves cosy sharks, we firmly believe that human creativity comes first.
There's no fixed route towards sustainability — that's part of what makes it interesting! — but as we explore these ideas for ourselves we have prioritised a few key concepts:
